Taxo.ie ("we", "us", "our") provides free online tax calculators and paid personalised tax reports and tax return filing computation services for Irish taxpayers. Our services are available through the website taxo.ie.
The information and reports provided by Taxo.ie are for informational and planning purposes only. They do not constitute tax advice, legal advice, financial advice, or any other form of professional advice. Taxo.ie is not a firm of accountants, tax advisors, or solicitors. Our reports are not a substitute for advice from a qualified tax advisor, accountant, or other professional.
For complex tax situations, we strongly recommend consulting a qualified professional. Revenue.ie is the authoritative source for all Irish tax legislation, rates, and guidance.
We take reasonable care to ensure that our tax calculations reflect current Revenue rules and rates. All calculations use hardcoded tax constants that are verified against Revenue.ie and updated annually after the Budget. However, we do not guarantee that our calculations are error-free or suitable for every individual circumstance.
Tax legislation is complex and changes frequently. Individual circumstances may vary. Taxo.ie accepts no liability for any loss, penalty, underpayment, overpayment, or other consequence arising from the use of our calculators or reports.
Paid reports and tax return filing computations are sold as digital products. Upon completing payment via Stripe, you will be directed to a questionnaire page. Once submitted, your report will be generated and delivered to the email address you provide.
Prices are displayed inclusive of VAT where applicable. All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Taxo.ie does not store or have access to your payment card details.
If there is a genuine error in your report that is attributable to our calculations (not to incorrect information provided by you), we will correct the report or issue a full refund at our discretion. Refund requests must be made within 14 days of purchase by contacting us at our contact page.
Because reports are generated based on the specific information you provide, we are unable to offer refunds simply because you are unhappy with the tax outcome. The report reflects the current law applied to your stated facts.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide in questionnaires and calculator inputs. You are responsible for filing your own tax returns with Revenue and for paying any tax due on time. Taxo.ie does not file returns on your behalf.
All content on taxo.ie, including text, graphics, design, calculators, and report templates, is owned by Taxo.ie and protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit any content without our written permission.
Paid reports are licensed for your personal use only. You may share your report with your accountant or tax advisor, but you may not resell or redistribute reports.
We collect and process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection legislation, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
We use third-party services including Stripe (payments), Formspree (form handling), and Resend (email delivery). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies. Links to other websites (including Revenue.ie and sister sites) are provided for convenience. We are not responsible for the content or practices of external sites.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Taxo.ie shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of our services. Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific product giving rise to the claim.
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the terms were last revised. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
If you have any questions about these terms, please contact us.
